SMS completes JFE-Nucor Mexican JV’s galv plant upgrade
The NJSM joint venture between Japan’s JFE Steel and America’s Nucor has issued the final acceptance certificate to SMS for the successful commissioning of the new hot-dip galvanizing line in Mexico, the technology supplier tells Kallanish.
SMS supplied the plant in Silao and was responsible for engineering and technology as well as electrical and automation systems.
