SMS completes Mexican LPC galv line upgrade
Germany's SMS Group has successfully completed the hot commissioning of the revamped galvanizing line at Mexico's Lamina y Placa Comercial (LPC) plant in Apodaca, the technology supplier tells Kallanish.
“The upgrade will allow LPC to meet the growing demand for skin-passed products, such as strips, galvanized profiled sheet and coils, galvanized steel roof ridge cap, and pre-painted coils and sheet for structural engineering,” SMS says.
