SMS supplies spiral pipe plant to Sinopec
Sinopec Shashi Steel Pipe Works (Sinopec SSPW) has ordered a spiral pipe plant from SMS Group for its facility in Jingzhou, Kallanish notes from SMS.
The plant will be designed for both submerged arc and MAG (Metal Active Gas) welding. It will produce spiral tube for oil and gas applications within the 508-2,032mm diameter range, with a maximum wall thickness of 25.4mm and a length of 15 meters.
