SMS to supply H2 Green Steel process technology
SMS Group has been selected to provide a broad range of equipment for the H2 Green Steel (H2GS) project in Sweden.
SMS was among the first shareholders in the Swedish venture, and is partner of Midrex, which will build the direct reduction plant for H2GS (see Kallanish 11 October). Its involvement as the main technical supplier is therefore consequential.
