SMS upgrades WISCO HRC mill
China's Wuhan Iron & Steel (WISCO) has granted SMS group final acceptance after the successful modernisation of its No.2 hot-rolling mill, designed to increase rolling availability.
The modernisation was conducted for the finishing stands F4 and F7, Kallanish notes. The revamping of F4 and F7 included the installation of CVC plus systems with ±150mm shifting stroke and the adaptation of the hydraulic valve stands.
