Wind, hydrocarbon projects keep Salzgitter, Europipe busy
German pipemaker EEW Special Pipe Constructions has selected Salzgitter’s platemaking unit Ilsenburger Grobblech as a supplier for the construction of the Sofia offshore wind farm. Some 28,000 tonnes of heavy plate will be supplied in 2023.
