Southeast Europe’s steel output decreases in April
Southeast Europe (SEE) crude steel production increased in April compared to the previous month, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 268,839 tonnes, down by 0.5% on-month and less compared to 317,861t in April 2023.
In the first four months of the year, regional production was also less on-year, at 1.02 million tonnes compared to 1.07mt in January-April 2023.
