Spain to hold new 3,000-MW renewables energy auction
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy announced Thursday a new 3,000-megawatt (MW) renewables auction seeking wind and solar photovoltaic capacity, following the success of last week’s round.
Rajoy said the new auction will be held before the summer. It will contribute to improving competition in the national electricity market, as well as reduce energy dependence from abroad, Kallanish Steel's sister publication Kallanish Energy reports.
