Spain’s gas demand hits record in July
Electricity generation and the industrial sectors boosted Spain’s demand for natural gas in July by 17%, compared to the same period last year, the largest monthly increase in the summer months since 2008.
Last month’s gas demand reached 8,200 gigawatt-hours, the highest figure recorded since February 2012, Kallanish Steel’s sister publication Kallanish Energy reports.
