SSAB raises US plate prices
SSAB Americas is hiking its plate prices by $50/short ton, Kallanish learns from a customer letter.
The increase applies to all new non-contract orders for both discrete and coiled plate.
“As the North American market leader, and to maintain fair market value for SSAB products,” the company says in its rationale.
Concurrently, SSAB announced that it will begin accepting non-contract orders for December shipment.
