Stahlwerk Thüringen performs well as sale talk continues
The German-based longs mill of Stahlwerk Thüringen (SWT) has posted positive results for 2018 and expects this year to continue being good, Kallanish learns from market sources. The mill was put up for sale last year by its Brazilian owner, CSN.
According to SWT’s commercial director speaking to local German media, the mill sold some 806,000 tonnes of products in 2018. It expects to achieve a similar level of sales (810,000t) …
