Steel Dynamics eyes imminent Sinton hot rolling restart
Steel Dynamics says the startup of its Sinton, Texas hot rolling mill is imminent.
During the company’s latest earnings presentation, it said it expects that ongoing issues with the mill’s caster sheer equipment will be resolved in the next few days.
“Repairs are well underway, and we should be restarting within the next few days. Once restarted, we fully expect to progressively ramp up month-over-month to an 80% run rate by the end of the year.…
