Steel Dynamics hikes rebar pricing by $50/st
US steel producer Steel Dynamics Inc has raised its rebar pricing by $50/short ton in September, Kallanish learns.
In a letter sent to customers, Steel Dynamics announced the $50/st price hike on rebar for all new orders effective immediately.
According to a Northeast rebar distributor, other US mills have yet to follow in Steel Dynamic's footsteps despite strong demand in the market.
