Steel Dynamics increases beam price
US manufacturer Steel Dynamics Inc has increased its beam prices by $30/short ton, Kallanish reports.
A company representative confirmed the price increase, which will go into effect immediately.
"Demand [for beams] has been steady throughout the pandemic," he adds.
