Steel Dynamics says construction demand remains strong
During US steel producer Steel Dynamics Inc's first-quarter earnings conference call, ceo Mark Millett gave insight into changes in output and construction following the end of Q1, Kallanish reports.
Steel Dynamics' output is "...positive looking through the lens of our order book and our order input rate...although [consumers] may not be buying from other people, they are buying from us."
