Steel Dynamics strikes deal to acquire ROCA
As part of a raw materials procurement initiative for Steel Dynamics Inc, the company is acquiring ROCA, a ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals recycling company, Kallanish learns.
ROCA - a Monterrey, Mexico based enterprise - is composed of four scrap metal processing facilities across North and Central America. ROCA has the capacity to process about 850,000 tonnes/year. Of this, ROCA ships roughly 575,000t.
