Steel firms on Hangzhou hopes
Spot Chinese steel prices began to recover on Friday and again, but only slightly, on Monday after almost a week of declines after futures prices signalled improving sentiment for the coming week. With the G20 summit in Hangzhou finally under way, there were mixed views on what this meant for prices in the coming days, but overall the bulls outnumbered the bears, Kallanish notes.
