Strong Q4 boosts Oman Chromite's 2016 shipments
Oman Chromite (OC)’s sales of chrome ore increased 17.8% on-year in 2016 to 26,424 tonnes. The improvement in chromite markets in the fourth quarter offset the decline in demand and metals markets in the first half of the year. 55% of the 2016 shipments were exported, up 2 percentage points from 2015.
