Sukha Balka increases five-month iron ore production
Iron ore output at Ukraine's Sukha Balka mine, part of DCH Steel, increased in January-May, the company confirms to Kallanish.
Production amounted to 1.98 million tonnes, up by 0.8% on-year.
In May alone the enterprise produced 228,400t, more by 1.7% on-year.
In 2020, the mine reduced iron ore production by 6.3% on-year to 2.55 million tonnes. In 2019 it had slightly increased output, by 0.3% on-year to 2.73mt (see Kallanish passim).
