Suspended LISCO re-opens oxygen plant for medical use
Libyan Iron & Steel Company (LISCO) has re-opened the oxygen plant at its Tripoli subsidiary to supply oxygen for medical use. The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Heisa, paid a visit at the beginning of the week to inspect the oxygen production unit, which has not been operating since 2013. The test production continues to verify if produced oxygen can be used in hospitals, a company official confirms to Kallanish.
