Suzuki Motor adopts JFE ultra-high-strength steel
Suzuki Motor has adopted JFE’s ultra-high-strength steel forming technology to manufacture its automotive parts, Kallanish notes.
The technology is the “Inflow Control Method” and the “Stress Reverse Method,” which are used to prevent press wrinkles and dimensional accuracy fluctuation in 980-1,180MPa class ultra-high tensile strength steel coils.
