Taiwan CSC reports surging earnings for November
Taiwan’s largest steelmaker, China Steel Corporation (CSC), recorded rapid growth in its November earnings, alongside surging carbon steel sales. Year-to-date figures were however still much lower than a year earlier, Kallanish learns.
CSC saw November carbon steel sales come to 664,600 tonnes in the reporting month, up 10.8% month-on-month but down 5.3% year-on-year.
