Taiwan scrap prices fall on lower demand

Taiwan's scrap market has fallen this week. Higher-than-expected prices and slow sales of rebar have led to a decline in purchasing. Kallanish assessed HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap on Wednesday at $480/tonne cfr Taiwan, down by $5/t week-on-week.
