Taiwanese scrap rebounds on higher offers

The Taiwanese scrap market has rebounded this week, and local sellers increased prices for various grades. Scrap import prices meanwhile increased by less than domestic prices. Offers from the US have increased, as have transaction values. HMS 1&2 80:20 from the US West Coast is offered at $460-465/tonne cfr Taiwan, which is $10/t higher than last week.
