Tangshan Ganglu constructs coke ovens
Tangshan Ganglu Iron & Steel is constructing a coke-electricity integration project in Hebei Province Zunhua City, Kallanish notes from market sources.
The steelmaker plans to build 20 stamp-charging and heat-recovering coke batteries with 18 ovens each. It is estimated this will produce 1.44 million tonnes/year of coke and generate 1.205 billion kWh of power through the waste gases of the project.
