Tangshan Ganglu upgrades blast furnace and converter
The Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province on 3 December announced a replacement project at Ganglu Steel, which will see the upgrade of a blast furnace and converter. Ganglu will reduce 332,600 tonnes/year of iron capacity and 475,000 t/y of steel capacity overall through this replacement, Kallanish notes.
