Tangshan enforces steelmaking restrictions in May
Several districts in Hebei's Tangshan city have released details of production restrictions for May to control air pollution, Kallanish notes.
Jinxi Steel in Qianxi county needs to reduce workload by -33% at five blast furnaces and by -37% at three converters, with iron and steel production reduced by around 254,800 tonnes and 178,400t respecively.
