Tangshan restricts production again
The Tangshan government added an additional air control plan on 19 July, following the four earlier plans released through July. This requires 13 steelmakers in Tangshan to halt the operation of 15 sinter plants from 16:00 on 19 July to 16:00 on 24 July.
Independent rolling mills are also asked to stop production from 20:00 to 08:00 each day. The restriction is estimated to reduce 50,600 tonnes/day of steelmaking capacity along with maintenance in Tangs…
