Tangshan's Fengnan lowers sintering/iron output further
Tangshan city in northern China's Hebei province has added more restrictions on blast furnaces since 12 August in its Fengnan area, which has seen more pollution compared with other areas. Six steelmakers in Fengnan were required to reduce blast furnace capacity by -50%, Kallanish notes.
