Tata, JSW raise output in December quarter

Tata Steel’s sales in India fell -4% on-year in the December quarter to 4.66 million tonnes, constrained by lower opening inventory after strong September-quarter sales. Production however rose 3% to 4.6mt. Domestic deliveries rose 4% in the quarter to 4.16mt, but exports fell to 11% of overall deliveries, Kallanish notes.
