Tata to cut 800 jobs in the Netherlands
Tata Steel says it needs to further reduce personnel costs to improve its market position in Europe. As a consequence, some 800 jobs will be cut at its Dutch unit, Kallanish notes.
Tata Steel Nederland employees in the management, staff and support positions will see 500 job losses. The remaining 300 job cuts will impact temporary workers.
