Tata sticks with BF closure, job cuts: reports
Tata Steel is pushing ahead with its decarbonisation plan for Port Talbot that involves shutting the blast furnace and replacing it with a single, large-capacity electric arc furnace, resulting in up to 3,000 job losses, according to widespread UK media reports.
