Tata’s output rises, deliveries plunge in December quarter
Tata Steel India’s crude steel production grew 4.35% on-year to 4.8 million tonnes in the third quarter of the fiscal year ending 31 March 2022 (FY22). This was marginally up by 1.5% on-quarter, against 4.73mt for the September quarter.
Production in April-December was at 14.16mt, up 16.26% on-year on the back of continued economic recovery during the nine months of FY22.
