Market waits on Chadormalu billet tender result
Various Iranian steelmakers held billet tenders last week, Iranian sources tell Kallanish.
Esfahan Steel Company (Esco) hosted a billet export tender for approved buyers. After receiving bids, the firm continued negotiations in attempt to elevate the sales price. The billet sale was ultimately awarded at $590/tonne fob Iran for December delivery.
