TimkenSteel reaches agreement with union for new contract
Canton, Ohio-based specialty long steel producer TimkenSteel has reached an agreement with United Steelworkers (USW) Local 1123 for new four-year contracts for its employees, Kallanish understands.
A tentative agreement was reached between TimkenSteel and Local 1123 which would raise base wages, as well as increase both healthcare and retirement benefits for union members. The agreement covers approximately 1,180 steelworkers in Canton.
