Tisco to commission 1mt stainless capacity in 2019
Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group (Tisco) is adding around 1 million tonnes/year of replacement stainless steel capacity by 2019 (see table below), according to the Shanxi province steel industry restructuring plan. Over 2019-2020 Tisco has planned five steel equipment upgrade projects with a total investment of CNY 2.72 billion ($433.74 million), Kallanish notes.
