Tokyo Steel maintains list prices for September
Tokyo Steel, Japan's leading electric arc furnace-based steel manufacturer, has decided to roll over its list prices for all products for September contracts, the second month of price stability, Kallanish notes.
For hot rolled coil, the prices are JPY 112,000-114,00/tonne ($767-780/t), JPY 10,000/t lower than for pickled coil. Thick plate is offered at JPY 118,000-122,000/t, while deformed bar quotes are at JPY 98,000-99,000/t.
