Toyota sees auto production decline in April
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota saw its highest ever April output this year, despite the figure being down from a record monthly high registered in March, according to its report released Tuesday.
In April, which is the first month of fiscal year 2024, Toyota’s standalone car output decreased 12.4% from March to 787,800 units worldwide. However, the figure still posted a year-on-year increase for the fourth consecutive month, at 13.8%, Kallanish notes.
