Toyota sets record annual production, sales high
Japan’s Toyota, the world’s largest carmaker in terms of production, set a record high for its 2023 annual production and sales. The performance was mainly contributed by its overseas production, also at a record high, according to the company’s monthly report.
December output reached 802,390 units, down 13.4% month-on-month but standing at a record high for December.
