Turkey exports less HDG, more PPGI in 2022
Turkey reduced exports of coated flat steel under HS code heading 7210 in 2022 considerably, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data. The country dispatched a total of 1.52 million tonnes of the material, down 37.1% on-year, as December volumes also fell by 17.5% on-month and 67.2% on-year to just 68,779 tonnes, Kallanish observes.
