Turkey shifts towards Asian billet supply in February
In February, Turkey's billet imports under HS code 720711 amounted to 221,286 tonnes at an average price of $559/t, Kallanish notes from Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Tonnage-wise, this represented a slight decrease of 5% compared to the same month the previous year but an increase of by 25.3% compared to January, when the country imported 176,608t at an average price of $540/t.
