Turkey's crude steel production rises on-year in April
Turkish crude steel production increased 6.5% on-year to 3.03 million tonnes in April, driven by scrap-based output, according to the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
Compared to March, however, April's crude steel production declined -2.7%, the association says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
Scrap-based production went up 9.3% y-o-y in April and iron ore-based output was up 0.5%, TCUD says without providing figures.
