Turkey’s construction confidence ends uptick in March
Turkey’s seasonally adjusted construction confidence index, which had been on the uptick since the beginning of the year, fell in March. The index, which was at 91.8 in February, declined to 88.6 in March, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months slumped by 7.1 points to 96.5 in March. Current overall order books decreased to 82.7 from 84.0.
