Turkey's crude steel production decreases in April
Turkish crude steel production declined in April as both scrap-based and integrated output went down, informs the Turkish Steel Manufacturers' Association (TCUD).
Turkey produced 3 million tonnes of crude steel last month, down -3.1% on-year and down -12.3% month-on-month. Electric arc furnace-based production fell -3.5% y-o-y in April, while iron ore-based production declined -2%, the association says in a statement.
