Turkey's DHT reopens steel mill in S Africa

Turkish DHT Holding has reopened an electric arc furnace-based rebar mill in South Africa, after upgrade, Kallanish learns from an announcement by the South African Ministry of Economic Development. The plant, Cape Town Iron and Steel Works (CISCO), established in 1967, was closed in 2010 and acquired by DHT Holding in 2012.
