Turkey’s Ekinciler resumes full-capacity production
Turkish electric arc furnace mill Ekinciler Demir ve Celik Sanayi says it has resumed production and is now operating at full capacity.
Production was suspended after the massive earthquakes that hit southeastern Turkey, where Ekinciler’s mill is located, Kallanish notes.
İsdemir is the only mill in the region that has not yet resumed production, meanwhile, as it is a blast furnace mill that is technically more complicated to restart than an EAF.
