Habas awaits environmental approval for bar mill
The environmental impact assessment examination of Habas’s hot rolling mill project in Aliaga has been completed, says Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation. The steelmaker must now await environmental approval.
The rolling mill will have an annual straight and coiled bar (including rebar) capacity of 2.5 million tonnes and is expected to cost TRY 847 million ($26.38m).
