Turkey's HR flats imports fall in February
Turkey's hot-rolled (HR) flat steel imports fell in February as higher intake from Europe could not offset the drop in imports mainly from Russia, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish statistical data.
February's HR flats imports went down -1.4% on-year and -18.7% on-month to 409,571 tonnes. The overall average value/tonne of these imports rose to $689/t from $605/t a year ago.
