Environmental assessment begins for Isdemir solar power plant
The environmental impact assessment has begun for Turkish integrated steel plant İsdemir’s solar power project in Diyarbakır, Kallanish learns from Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation.
The project, which has a total investment amounting to TRY 4.5 billion ($147.2 million), will see 310,932 solar panels be installed to produce 311.92 million kWh of electricity annually. Construction and installation is estimated to take 25 months.
