Kardemir general manager resigns
Necdet Utkanlar has resigned as general manager of Turkish steelmaker Kardemir. Deputy GM operations Ahmet Aycan will take over as acting GM until a permanent appointment is made, the producer says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
Utkanlar was in the position for over three years.
Kardemir increased revenue by 38.8% on-year in January-September to TRY 27.3 billion ($959.6 million) but profit almost halved to TRY 1.25 billion (see Kallanish passim).
